Discover a hidden gem along the peaceful shores of the Penobscot River. Set on just under two private acres with more than 300 feet of owned water frontage, this rustic cottage offers an ideal escape for fishing, boating, and enjoying the quiet beauty of Maine. Inside, the cottage is finished with Roxul insulation and warm, wide-pine boards. Marine batteries power the interior lighting, while a greywater system allows for washing dishes. The seller also has a pump and water tank in place for the new owner to connect an outdoor shower. A primitive outdoor privy completes the simple, off-grid setup. The screened porch faces the river and provides the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee, unwind with a cold beverage, or listen to the water at the end of the day. A shed and dock are also included with the sale. Here, you can feel wonderfully disconnected from it all while remaining close to Lincoln and within easy reach of Bangor's shopping, dining, and other conveniences.
